Across Atlantic Canada, leagues are starting up, gyms are getting busy, and teams are heading back onto the ice, fields, courts, and trails.

If you're signing up for a new activity this fall, remember:

You don't have to be perfect.

You don't have to be the best.

You just have to show up.

That's how every great season begins.

"I'm getting back into sports after a few years away. What's your advice?"

Great question!

Start small.

Choose an activity you enjoy.

Focus on having fun rather than performance.

And remember:

Everyone is rusty at something.

The important thing is getting started.
